I would separate those variables in two groups: (1) the ones that are constantly changed/monitored and (2) the ones that need to change from time to time. Group 1 will have values like voltage, current, power. Group 2 will contain accel and decel times. Group 1 values can be monitored by extending standard ProfiDrive message frames and adding those parameters to the drive telegram Basic Profibus communication configuration steps are described in this example. Group 2 values should be changed utilizing parameter read and write functions. Example of parameter read and write functionality is available here. |

Hello, In your project there is no acyclic communication. To read and write parameters like ramp times you should use the Function blocks SFB52/53. Some examples are mentioned from DenisMor above: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/29157692 There is also a chapter in the function manual --> for example in the manual for the S120 (chapter 10). |
