Motor overtemperature

ArrJay Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	I have a site with several G120/W120 units (CU240DP) that will occationally trip on motor overtemperature. There is no feedback device into the VFD, so it is using the internal calculation method. (Note, some units would not pass the motor modeling) Is there a way this can be defeated? Perhaps by installing a resistor on the input? There is an external control system that gets all temperature and moisture information from the motor and opens the enable contact on the VFD when it fails, so we don't need the internal calculation model.

ArrJay Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	Resistor didn't help. Still calculates from model and trips off of that. I set p0621 to 0 (no response) and it now just does a warning alarm, no trip. Problem now is it looks like this particular unit had the motor amp rating set too low, so modeling was wrong. It won't let me change the amp rating unless I go back to commisioning and start over.
