Dear Sir For the adapter to work correctly with 840D/810D, You must supply the 24v to the NCU/CCU from an external source, This is acheived by connecting +24V(P24) to pin 20/21 of X121 and 0v(N24) to pin 1/2. This will allow your adapter to work on slow MPI (187kbps) and Profibus DPinterfaces. It does not, however, work on High speed MPI (1.5 mbps) X101of NCU For further information, please see DOConCD/WEB https://www.automation.siemens.com/doconweb/content.asp?item=11641&cd=sinumerik_0107_e&scope=all Best regards SteveJ |

Thanks, SteveJ I am thinking in another way but it's good information. I will try p24 to pin7 and m24 to pin2 which will go only adapter not to NCU. thanks a lot |
