PC USB Adapter not work on 810D

atharva Posts: 79 Rating: (5)	Hi, I have a new PC USB adapter 6ES79792-OCB20-OXAO SW1.2 HW03 FW1.2. I have used it S7 300 PLC cpu working Ok but I unable to use for 810D CCU3. I think it doesn't get power through NCU. What is the way out of it. It there any attachement is available. thanks

SteveJ Posts: 328 Rating: (29)	Dear Sir For the adapter to work correctly with 840D/810D, You must supply the 24v to the NCU/CCU from an external source, This is acheived by connecting +24V(P24) to pin 20/21 of X121 and 0v(N24) to pin 1/2. This will allow your adapter to work on slow MPI (187kbps) and Profibus DPinterfaces.
