But it is better to know the limitations of S7-1200 communication with WinCC Flexible RunTime as mentioned in this. - How do you access S7-1200 tags with a panel or RT configured with WinCC flexible 2008 SP2? If you want to have a seamless communication then WinCC Advanced v12 should do. You can connect on Ethernet.
