Tharekm Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello, I would like to extract a numerical file with the set and actual position of one of the axis of a 5-axis CNC with SINUMERIK 840D sl. I know how to plot some values on the screen but i do not know how to extract them. Thanks in advance

Tharekm Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	I'm making a matlab model to study the mechanical vibrations of the machine. So, i need to validate my model with the actual behavior of the CNC module. I am able to see the position vs. time plot in the screen of the siemens controller but i don't know how to generate a file (e.g .txt file) in order to compare my simulation results against the real ones. I know how to open the scopes and see all the data from the linear encoders and the set create by the path motion calculation but i want to re-plot the data with another software. That's why i need to extract it in a binary file, txt file or another format. Thanks for the help!

I downloaded the zip file, but don't know how to scope the 840d.
