i have pcu50.3(sata HDD) FULL HDD .gho backup , and can i restore this with PCU 50 HDD(IDE)...?

Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (485)	Hello, You can check the current harddisk size of individual partitions before formatting Partition C Partition C is reserved for service applications under WinPE 2005 . Partition D Is used for the storage of backup images (data backup of a partition) in the folder "Images". Partition E Is reserved for the Windows XP-System software. Partition F Is reserved for the installation of applications such as HMI-System software (including data maintenance and temporary data), STEP7, OEM-Applications for HMI or customer- specific applications. Regards, Prakash thanks hdd totally gone , thats why i cant see any partition 1,this is PCU50,i have remember service menu is different so its possible to restore..?( not PCU50.3) C: .. IS WinPE or dos..?

Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (485)	Hello, Then your Base software version would 07.06.xx.xx you will not find the service center like pcu50.3 C drive is WINPE See you local partition size create accordingly the partition for the individual drives....you need to format you D also...D partition will not come you need o assisgn. Regards, Prakash we are using PCU50 , we found problem in motherbord , now motherbord ok , previous HDD crash ,now changed new HDD and now loaded defualt 840d HMI, because we dont have (.gho) file , we have archive file and GH1, GH3, GH4 backp, i paste into "D:\image" folder , i tryed to restore (gh1,gh3,gh3) but cant restore, msg shown (FATAL :varible image is empty cant restore!) like that whats that problems..? what should i do , please help me
