Diagnostic screens and objects names (Plant Asset Management)

Skata Experienced Member Joined: 12/18/2006 Last visit: 10/22/2025 Posts: 89 Rating: (6)	Why does "Create/Update Diagnostics Screen" automatically add "_1", "(1)", "(2)"... to the names of the folders, pictures and objects in the plant asset management? I mean if I have given an object an unique name in HW-config then why does it add some extension that is also visible in WinCC runtime. The automatically generated names seem to be impossible to manually rename.

In the properties of a Hierarchy folder open Control and Monitoring Attributes tab, put a new name into Picture name for OS field. That's all

Chandra Tiwari Posts: 247 Rating: (2)	hi, I got info in help file that if i use : Maintenance station Standard License (Maintenance ES License) then i will get Full diagnostics of AS station and user diagnostics. and if i use : Maintenance station Basic License (Over view screen only) then it will show the over view screens only.. Now i want to purchase any of this license but i want to be sure that it will provide complete diagnostics atleast CPU and CP-443-1 (Ethernet card) node and fault status.
