What can cause Runtime licenses to become corrupt.

Trevor Holliday Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	We have an Industrial PC running windows XP embedded; on this system we have our runtime hmi application which requires it's runtime license and recipes license. We have a problem that either one or both of the licenses occassionally either disappear altogether or become corrupted. We then in the UK need to somehow guide the (for example) south american customer to ring the siemens support line to get the license repaired. All i want to know is what can cause the licenses to become corrupt so i can look to prevent it. Thanks.

Thanks. hello there is toomany reason is there may be old lcenses were not deleted properly pleas check the OS also

Trevor Holliday Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	These are brand new licenses installed onto brand new systems that are all built from the same image; there have never been any other licenses installed. Approximately 25% of these systems have shown this problem at some point the other 75% have no issues.
