almxgina.dll - Missing PCS7 V8 SP1

burnertje Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello, We have installed PCS7 V8 Sp1 on several clients and servers. Now we want to use the almxgina.dll for disabling several windows key combinations. However we cant locate the dll file. So do we need to install this file seperatly? The OS for the servers is Windows 2008 server R2 standard The OS for the Clients is Windows 7 Professional. Thx for the help

burnertje Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Yes already have read that, but unfortunately it was no solution for me. What i did found out is the following On the PCS7 V8 SP1 DVD there is a map with install files for WinCC V7.0 SP3. When you open the Data.zip file you will find those files I needed. But when I take a look at Installed Software it shows that there isinstalled WinCC V7.2. And I cantfind out the link between those two. And when i run WinCC V7.0 SP3 setup it won't allow me to install it.

Silent Bob Posts: 836 Rating: (100)	Hi, which key combinations would you like to disable? Since Win7 it's not quite as easy to disable some Windows Features. But there has been a WinCC Update which was dealing with problems of that kind.

burnertje Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello, All keys needs to be disabled with a specific user. Other users can or may use other key stroke combinations. But I miss the Xgina dll that is the main question

Silent Bob Posts: 836 Rating: (100)	I think since Win7 the old ways of locking keys aren't working anymore. Check out WinCC 7.0 SP3 Update 3: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/63472422 Here they changed something with the key locking (Check out readme file).
