Phoenix_333 Posts: 14 Rating: (1)	I can see on the page 39 from PDM manual (pdm_application_en-US_en-US.pdf) instructions about Device Integration Manager.How to instalate this software? After PDM instalation (PCS7),I can not see the option "Device Integration Manager". See attached file. I need to include o new PA device (device library do not have this device). What is the difference between"managedevice catalog" and "Device Integration Manager"? Thanks Attachment Device Integration Manager.jpg (322 Downloads)

How do you integrate devices into the SIMATIC PDM V6.0 at a later date?

Phoenix_333 Posts: 14 Rating: (1)	I do not know...but... I found the procedure below on pages 40/41 of the PDM manual: 1. Select an incomplete device description and then select the Complete device information ... command in the shortcut menu. Complete the device description. 2. Click "OK". Note Saving the changes ● If the device description is located on a read-only medium, changes cannot be made. In this case, copy the device description to a medium that is not write-protected and start the process again. ● The changes will remain available in the Device Integration Manager until the dialog box is closed. When you click the "OK" button, the changes are applied to the device description. 3. Click "Integrate". The integration of the device description is performed. regards
