Flex 2008, Only 2 Comm drivers available when creating a new project.

docadar Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	I have WinCC Flexible 2008 SP1. I am creating my first project where the A KTP600 PN will be communicating to a Modicon Momentum PLC on Modbus TCP\IP. I've read all the help files and the WinCC flexible 2008 Communication Part 2. Everything says that all these drivers, including Modbus TCP\IP, c&p from document... "The drivers for the connection to a Modicon PLC via Modbus TCP/IP are provided and automatically installed with WinCC flexible." But when I create a new project the only 2 selections for a driver I have are "S7-200" and "S7-300\400". If I open an existing project all the drivers (18 of them, including Modbus TCP\IP) are there. So, it is evidently something I'm missing when setting up the new project. Can someone point me in the right direction. I suppose I could take an existing project and add the Modbus driver and then delete everything else and save it as the new project. But that just seems like a work around.

My issue isn't with the actual ability of a screen communicating on Modbus TCP\IP. My issue is that... when I create a new project the only 2 selections for a driver I have are "S7-200" and "S7-300\400". I CAN'T see all the drivers when creating a new project. I CAN see all the drivers when I open an existing project. That's the issue I need help with.
