marzelo Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	Hi everybody I have a MP 277 and a PLC S7-300 with a CPU 314. The S7 program was done and it´s ok. The WinCC Flexible program was done and it´s ok. Now I have to communicate both of them, but I dont know what I have to do first. I have a profibus FC cable and a MPI adapter. Do I have to configure NetPro ??? or maybe only with a configure in the Communication properties on WinCC Flexible its enough. Please, would you like to teach me, what can I do first to communicate MP 277 and CPU 314. Thanks a lot.

Hello, If your WinCC flexible is not integrated with STEP 7 Software, and if the communication setting is ok in WinCC flexible project, then there is no need to check the net pro. Net Pro is important in case of integrated project and it is more simple by the way. In any case, just bring a profibus cable with two bus connectors at both ends, and connect them between CPU MPI port and your MP277. It will work. Hope this helps.

IBN-Service Posts: 8946 Rating: (1000)	marzelo So it`s ok. I have the original conectors and cable. Beware! If it is just the original MPI - cable that comes with MP, there are no resistors! Because this (grey with potted connectors) cable is just approx. 1.5m long, they are not necessary in this case. Max, speed with this cable is 187.5 kbps.
