WinCC V6.0 - "No connection to the data server"

Sgt.Franz Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi ! Why do I get the message "No connection to the data server" on the SIMATIC WinCC V6.0 ? There is two single stations (mean I don't have client-server relation) and on both I have the same message. [:(] What can/should I do ? BTW after WinCC and PC restart everything seems to be ok but only for few hours/days. BR Sgt.Franz

[:(] Maybe you can help us to get some new ideas by answering some questions related to the problem: 1. Do you use only WinCC or PCS 7? 2. When did the occur the first time (e.g.: after migrating project to new wincc version, or all the time since first startup)? 3. You say the problem occurs on two single station machines. Does it happen at the same time on both? 4. Do both machines run the same project? 5. Does it occur regularly. If yes how often? 6. Are there any hints in \WinCC\Diagnostic\ folder or Windows eventlog around the respective point in time? If yes, can you post the events and error-timestamps here?
