Hot Swap is depends on CPU. . Generally S7-300 CPUs does not support Hot swap. . Also refer this "Module Change During Operation"

Hello, You will have to use an "active Backplane" for example: 6ES7195-1GF30-0XA0 ET200M, Rail 530mm And the busmodules: 6ES7195-7HD10-0XA0 ET200M, Bus unit f. 2 IM 153-2 RED or the Redundancy bundle: 6ES7153-2AR03-0XA0 ET200M IM153-2 Red. bundle And for the I/O modules for example: 6ES7195-7HB00-0XA0 ET200M, Bus unit f. 2 40mm I/O modules Best regards, Wizard
