Is possible for incoming armatur without Motorized CB/Main Contactor but we will installed it at DC Side (outgoing to Motor)?

Import-User-1 Posts: 3609 Rating: (29)	Idut We replaced the old Ward Leonard system for existing 830Vdc Motor by Simoreg 6RA7093-4LV62-0. The three Simoreg for each DC Motor for application of Metal Conveyor Bar Mill . Is possible for incoming armatur without Motorized CB/Main Contactor but we will installed it at DC Side (outgoing to Motor) Thanks for your support

To the terminals 109, 110 you may connect relay, which will switch on contactor in DC circuit. Contactor at AC side is switched on manually and may be additionally switched off by digital output of drive. Then using free blocks from S00 option you may build any required logic. What may be wrong in sequence of switching on command described in chapter 9.3.3? May be I misunderstood you.

PISCEAN 2010 Posts: 8092 Rating: (884)	Hello, As per logic requirement & from safety point of view, it is always recommended to switch ON/OFF power at AC side & DC fuse link to be provided at out put side of converter.

To prevent DC Drive from Regenerative energy comming from motor. For frequent Tripping with F030 2). if any short circuit happens at armature terminalsfuses semiconductor fuse can save both i.e.Drive andDCmotor
