WinCC Sm@rtAccess & Android 3.0 comunnication

Beep-A Posts: 90 Rating: (1)	Hello people I have a PC-Runtime WinCCflexible SCADA with sm@artaccess option. I want to buy a tablet PC with Android 3.0 OS. I want to monitor & control the system by the web browser of the tablet PC. I know that I can access to the SCADA's web server by Internet Explorer on the standard PC. As I am the beginner in Android OS, I don't know if it supports java applets whose are obligatory for this kind of control & monitoring? Did anybody try such monitoring? If Android 3.0 web browser doesn't support java applets, can this be made by some third-party software? Thanks in advance for your answers. Kind regards, Beep

The address of the router on the Internet. The password and the ports used. Tweety

fbelic Posts: 327 Rating: (28)	Greetings Yes, any remote-desktop application with support for Andorid will work, you don't even need Sm@rtAccess. We've been using Team Viewer because it works on practically anything with Internet connection, but the choice is yours. Best regards
