WinCC flexible ADS protocol to connect to a Beckhoff PLC

I'm trying to use WinCC flexible runtime with a Beckhoff PLC CX1010. The attached manual says on page 11: "2.4.2.1 Installing a communication driver The driver for the ADS protocol is not supplied with WinCC flexible. This driver must be installed using a setup procedure. The setup file is located in the "V1.3.0.0_0.01.0.1.zip" file or in a later version." Support said that this driver was developed for a specific client who paid for it, so they do not provide it. |
