how to read temperature using 6ES7 134-4JB01-0AB0

Damayanti Posts: 148 Rating: (3)	Dear All, I am having J type thermocouple sensors 16 no. I want read temperature using these 16 thermocouples, for that I am using S7-1200 CPU 6ES7 214-1AG31-0XB0 IM 151-3PN 6ES7 151-3AA23-0AB0 PM 6ES7 138-4CA01-0AA0 and 2AI TC ST 6ES7 134-4JB01-0AB0 Software used for configuring above system is TIA V11 Now I have one J type thermocouple sensor with me and I have connected it to channel no. 0. Channel no.1 is unused so I have eactivated it in a hardware configuration and physically terminal no. 5,6 and 7 are shorted. For channel no.0, I have connected sensor between terminal no.1 & 2 and no.3 is connected to M terminal. now in a watch table, I am getting IW68:P as -26 in DEC_Signed format. If i heat the sensor, this value increase ie towads 0 and then positive. but, I don't know, how to get actual temp reading in degree celcius? how to do temp. compensation? please help. I don't have HF modules and those TM also i don't have compensation box. so only option is RTD module. isn't it? for 8 no.of 2 channel thermocouple modules, how many RTD modules will be required and how to connect it? please help.
