Actually, it is possible to change some data in runtime file of Simatic panel (without any configuration file). You have to make backup on storage card. It is possible to change/translate all texts to your language (labels, lists, alarms, help text…). I made that with MP277, TP170B and OP77B. I think it could be also possible to do that on other devices with card slot: Mobile Panel 170, Mobile Panel 177 DP, Mobile Panel 177 PN, Mobile Panel 277, Mobile Panel 277 IWLAN, OP170B, TP170B mono DP, OP177B mono DP,, OP177B color PN/DP, TP270, OP270, TP277, OP277, MP177, MP270, MP270B Touch, MP270B Touch, MP370 Touch, MP370 Touch, MP377 Touch, MP377 Touch, C7-635 (TP170B, OP 170B), C7-636 (OP 270), KP400 Comfort, KTP400 Comfort, KP700 Comfort, TP700 Comfort, KP900 Comfort, TP900 Comfort, KP1200 Comfort, TP1200 Comfort, KP1500 Comfort, TP1500 Comfort, TP1900 Comfort, TP2200 Comfort and of course WinCC Flex SCADA.

It is not big, but it could be salvation if you cannot find config file.
