Problem regarding simoreg DC master drive‏

Alamgir Mahmud Posts: 39 Rating: (0)	Dear All, Could you please help me out regarding a problem on simoreg DC master drive? My discussion is given below. I want to control the speed of a dc motor with simoreg dc drive and also with two push button switch, one is for speed up and and another is for speed down. I need to know the parameter and also the connection port. I tried to figure out but I amconfused. The existing system is running with an analog input (Potentiometer). But as the potentiometer is not durable, we need to change the system to push-button switch (digital input). Thanking you Regards Mahmud

Connect button 'Up' to the terminal 36, button 'Down' to terminal 39. Then look at sheet G180 of function diagrams. Set PP673=B0010, P674=B0016. Then go to sheet G135 of function diagrams and set P644=K0240. Set other parameters of MOP as required (P462, P463).

How can I do this...didn't understand clearly.. If you can inform me, it will be very helpful for me. I offer for you to use the MOP, which is controlled by buttons connected to terminals 36, 39. By pressing buttons you will increase/decrease the MOP output, which will be a speed setpoint.
