Using Tia Portal in various versions V11+Spx and V12+Spx , I often found customers who could not assign IP to S7 1200.

This happens when S7 1200 is new with the IP 0.0.0.0 address.

In the "Extended download to device" windows we can't find a compatible device.

Sometimes simply using anotherPC , you could solve the problem. PC apparently identical , the same model, Windows 7 64bit ,antivirus , ram etc...

When IPaddress is assigned , the PC that was not connected now works.

Questions:

1 - In the Control Panel of Windows 7 there are :

Communication Setting and Set Interface Pc/Pg(32bit)

Are they the same thing or are they locked between them?

2 - When you use the " Show compatible device " you can't find any PLC

3 - Which services are to be checked ?

When you are inthis situation , what shoud you do ?

When you find yourself in this situation, the function of PST - The browse the network for station - , from as result " No station was detected on the network " .

I think there i some service that is blocked !
