hardware in TIA V11

hieutran8969 Bronze Member Joined: 11/17/2011 Last visit: 10/18/2025 Posts: 123 Rating: (1)	dear all, i have a question with hardware in Step7 V11. i would like to config 2 module IM153-2(DP LINK) and FDC157-0(DP/PA Coupler). i can get Im153-2, but with FDC157-2 (6ES7157-0AC83-0XA0) i can not get it from hardware of Step7 V11. thus, i can not config Profibus PA bus. And on hardware of Step7 V11, i dont see device of Profibus PA. Do Step7 V11 (also V12) support Profibus Dp, Profinet, AS-I network. thanks for your support,

Denilson Pegaia Diamond Expert Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 1/14/2026 Posts: 4447 Rating: (1487)	Hi STEP 7 V11 is not prepared to work with PDM and PA devices. E.g. the workaround is to convert PA devices to GSD (see FAQ http://support.automation.siemens.com/BR/view/en/26562190).
