LOGO & S7-300 communication

Fatso Bronze Member Joined: 9/11/2006 Last visit: 3/17/2022 Posts: 168 Rating: (6)	I am trying to setup communication between LOGO and S7-300(6ES7 315-2AH14-0AB0 V3.0) with Ethernet Card(6GK7 343-1EX30-0XE0 V2.2).The S7-300 is an existing PLC on site,the logo PLC is brand new. i made all the settings according to the 'EN_LOGO!-S7-300_communication' example on the support website: I Created unspecified S7-connection in Netpro,I checked all the setings:Local and patner IP adresses,local and patner TSAP . I created an Ethernet connection on the logo side as well according to the example project. My problem is that there is no connection between the logo PLC and the S7-300. I then took the logo plc to the office for testing and using the same project and settings but with a different PLC(6ES7 315-2AG10-0AB0 V2.6) with Ethernet Card(6GK7 343-1EX11-0XE0 V2.0) and the connection works fine. Is the logo PLC compatible with all S7-300 PLCs? [snip] ...

Posts: 215 Rating: (6)	Hello Fatso, to make sure we are talking about the same: do you refer the following website? https://www.automation.siemens.com/mcms/programmable-logic-controller/en/logic-module-logo/application-examples/Pages/Default.aspx?HTTPS=REDIR, 10th zip file? I have got a 6ES7 315-2EH14-0AB0 with PN/IE interface onboard and it works also fine. As far as I know there is no difference in communication of differrent S7-300 types if they are equipped with an Ethernet port. Did you make a ping check? Did you check all addresses to be in the same range =.=.=.# ? Regards
