The meauring device continously measures the power consumed by the loads and transmits this to LOGO! -proportional value 4-20mA. The PLC converts this value to binary and controls via LOGO! output relays power plant. Sorry for my english ;) regards

allmächt! Posts: 215 Rating: (6)	Hello cezar334547, my problem in understanding is what is your goal. How granular is the coding you expect? Let me explain. You could design a logic circiut which gives you 2¹, 2², 2³, 2⁴, and so on states back. In the link Marjan has posted you will find solutions for a different number of states. For example: your signal range is 0 ... 10V analogue. you could design a circuit that codes 0 ... 5 Vto "0" and 6 ... 10 V to "1". also you could design a circuit that codes 0 ... 1 Vto "0", 1 ... 2 V to "1" and so on up to 9 ... 10 V V to "9". You even could have a coding with decimal places. The more granular you wish your coding to be, the amount of blocks increases you have to use. Regards
