It's for a flow measurement the input AI have to be at 12mA befor the nexst DO can be send to 1. this is wat i thought a can use. thxn for helping To me, if your logic is supposed to detect your flow is between 12mA and 20mA, should you first convert (scale) your 0..27648 counts to 0.0..20.0 mA? Then use the results of your conversion to be within the rain of 12.0 and 20.0 to determine your D.O. should be ON? Of course, if you want to simply use counts, 12.0/20.0 * 27648 would be your low limit and 27648 your high limit.

In that case, you may want to convert to L/hr, compare to be between +/- 0.1 L/hr or something appropriate to your signal's noise level. If your signal is slow changing and fairly clean, you can try +/- 0.001 L/hr. Just keep in mind it will not be exactly zero without heavy filtering for very long, and it may be "close enough to zero" for quite long enough to do what you need.
