WinCC flex SP2=PC / SP3=PG

sakal123 Posts: 29 Rating: (0)	Hello I have recently updated WinCC Flexible 2008 on my laptop to SP3 and now I have to make some changes to HMI that runs on PC with WinCC Flexible SP2 and corresponding Runtime. I can not trasfer the project because of older runtime on PC, but if I choose older version of Runtime in Device settings then there is no project to download in the transfer window. Is there any other way apart from instaling new version (SP3) on PC with HMI, because that takes almost an hour and the production line must be working all the time? I know I could downgrade WinCC flexible on my laptop, but I suppose there will be more and more changes comming (also on other projects), so flipping up and down everytime is not an option. Hi Igor, you can just save as older version, but you can not compile as older version. You have to update your PC/PG to same SP, or use a virtual machine.
