Assertion with pniopcac.exe

hik Member Joined: 1/25/2011 Last visit: 4/25/2025 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	I have installed several siemens software products, e.g. TIA v11, TIA v12, Step7, WinCC flexible on a notebook with Windows XP. Whenever the notebook resumes after suspend I get the following error message (on the login screen): Assertion! Program: pniopcac.exe File ..\...\com_comps\pcsrt\lib\src\pcsrt_sysadapt.cpp Line: 856 !"ERROR Code Unknown" I have to press the cancel button several times to make the box disappear. pniopcac.exe ist part of Siemens/SimNetCom.
