icd file updates with no reason in digsi

Whenever i change or add a single point on a single relay I habe update all parameter sets of relays. Some of them updated againwhich I did not even touch! And the exact 2 relays of station sometimes do not update! After a lot of trys I finally found a way to update these 2 relays: by moving them to anothr subnet in station with the same IP for subnet. It means In station I have got 2 subnet with the same IP address. One containing thise 2 relays which do not update and the other subnet with the rest of 55 relays. In this way the whole station updated. But I do not know that the correct way or not? Thanks for your promp answer...

fanana Posts: 179 Rating: (1)	hii big john for me it is strange behaviour ,i would like to ask something 1-those two relays you mentioned have the latest parameter ,and do you have similar relays like those or only those two relay different from the pther on your station. 2_those relayes connected with your sicam pas or not? 3_could you give us a snapshoot of yournetwork on the IEC 61850.

And the parameter sets are the latest, I cheched the Siemens Downlod pool. The relays are not connected to SICAM PAS. An RTU used as Client. The scrren shot attached... fanana Posts: 179 Rating: (1)	hii again big john 1-could you give a snapshoot of network on iec 61850 you gave to me report i need the network? 2-which versition of digsi you installed ? 3-you can try to delet those device and try to add another two and see what happen? you know it sometimes i change setting in one device on my project and make update ,sometimes another devices make update ,but it must update sucessfully. thanks and best regards

fanana Posts: 179 Rating: (1)	Hii again big john For you question ,it is not ok to change your subnet mask becasue you should use the same subnet mask in the rtu otherwise all devices will be ok except those two devices 1_could you try to add any devices to your station and check if this happen to this also ? i just want to know if the digsi or 61850 has aproblem or some thing on your configuration. so try to creat anew project copy those devices and insert a new station and see the behaviour.if happen again i would contact the siemens support. i wish if i could help you ,i hope you solve it . thanks and best regards

When I deleted reports of one of these two relays which I mentioned before, all station updated. Last night I had a modification to the station I added some points to the relays reports and all station uodated. I have no idea why this station did not update last day. It was updated in may computer and in another computer did not! Sometimes I have to build the whole station from the biggining to update all relays! I think the problem iswith the 61850 configuarator sotware. Thanks again John
