• Check the proper grounding of main rack based on "Automation System S7-400 Hardware and Installation" Manual.
  
  
• There is an empirical method to check adverse effects of a faulty sync. module on a CPU.Inspect the sync. module and replace some with new ones and check the CPU's behavior.
