enable and disable the Profibus slave communication by program for DP master?

If the two nodes are healthy then i will not get BF indication in the DP master. If anyone is not accessable by master the it will generate the BF Indication. Is it possible to enable and disable the Profibus slave communication by program for DP master? Regards, Sankar

Piotr.M Platinum Member Joined: 6/24/2013 Last visit: 11/14/2025 Posts: 1696 Rating: (433)	Hi If you have machine with options i.e. all modules in hw config but some used: 1. read only modules which are present (set in program constants for intended configuration) 2. using SFC12 disable not connected items the above will eliminate diag buffer entries AND BF/SF lights when configuration of machine is same as expected. Note: SFC12 works over several OB1 Scans.
