Micromaster 420 configured in TIA PORTAL V12 with PROFIBUS

I did this configuration before in the STEP 7 V5.5 and I didnt have any troubles. The comunication In the step 7 configuration, I read, that there are 4 areas of data of send and receive information between PLC and Micromaster; there are: CONTROL WORD=W#16#047E STATUS WORD=W#16#FA31 MAIN SETPOINT=W#16#0000 MAIN ACTUAL VALUE=W#16#0000 As I Said before, in step 7 V5.5, I Didn´t have any problem, For send data to the micromaster i Used SFC 15, AND for reed from Micromaster I used SFC14 In the TIA PORTAL , the record of those block is: 80B1 I have to use the TIA PORTAL because, also have a S7-1212C with CM1242-5 as slave of S7-300 What can be the problem using TIA PORTAL? Best regards Hello Have you already seen this: Here an example, instead of SINAMICS you are using MICROMASTER - Connecting a SINAMICS drive to an S7-1200 CPU in TIA Portal (via GSD file) or SINAMICS Application Examples - Automation Technology - Siemens sorry but I do not use yet Tia Portal to communicate with MM4 via Profibus

Please post us (e.g. screenshot) The call of your block the block itself. Which telegram configuration (e.g. PPO3) do you use? In general, you have to do it like in STEP 7 V5

Rarely, in the step 7 works very well, but in TIA PORTAL V12 +sp1 Cant send or recerive data from my MM420. But you use SFC14/15 to transmit one word each. I' m suprised it worked in STEP 7 V5. Instead of SFC14/15 you can use L(oad) and T(ransfer): (direct acess) [code]L DB1.DW0 T POW 320 l PIW 280 T DB1.DW2[/code] The sense of SFC14/15 is to read the complete data from a station in consistant way. In the attachment you can see a exampe where 6 words are transferred (like PPO4 for MM4) Attachment D:\Process_Data_SFC.pdf (868 Downloads)
