the installing point of the transducer is most relevant for standardizedfluems/weirs.

It could happen, that we lose some energy if the beam angle touchsthe edges of the fluems/weirs.
Therefore, transducershould belocated in the center to minimize the effect. Mostly,OCM measurement will only have short ranges, the beam angle is not that relevant then.There are also filters and algorithms available to handle this in the worst case

I guess that it will not be possible to measure the flow here.
The kind of constuction is not standardized.
Furthermore, thevelicity of the waterwill not be constant hereand also the roughness of the sand etc. will have an incalculable effect to thisflow.
