mjrv Posts: 283 Rating: (0)	Dear Sirs Kindly advice for the following : a) Can winccflexible backup of OP277 6inch be restored in OP77 ??? b) We got a OP277 6 inch - it is just about 18 months old, today function keys right below the screen are not working and hence we are unable to open required screens - very rarely they work, even up and down, left right arrow keys on keypad on right side of the screen also rarely works, when we toch any of these keys, we dont feel that keys are stuch rather we feel contact of keys to be OK, still they are not working - kindly advice if we need to do OS update by using Winccflexible 2008, as I am not very familiar, pl confirm if i can connect laptop with OP277 using MPI or not and also pl let me know on how to do OS update and then restore backup project on to this OP Warm Regards,

desmul24 Posts: 378 Rating: (73)	Dear mjrv, mjrv a) Can winccflexible backup of OP277 6inch be restored in OP77 ??? Yes you can back up by RS232/PPI cable. Create a new blank project wincc flexixible with your device type >> Project >> Transfer >> Backup , then follow the instructions. Note that you can only make backup if only the project was previously downloaded with back transfer option enabled. It was last opened with Wincc flexible 2008(K 1.3 SP 2 HF 13 (1.1.4)). Open the project with valid wincc flexible version. If it was a beta version, use the official release version Kindly advice Warm Regards,
