S7-317F + ET200s + 4/8F-DI adressing - question

plewandowski Silver Member Joined: 8/14/2014 Last visit: 4/10/2025 Posts: 144 Rating: (17)	Hello everyone, I've got question about adressing I/Os in ET200s module I'm using S7-317F-2 PN/DP CPU, IM151-3 module, 4/8F-DI DC24V and 4F-DO PROFIsafe modules. I've got prooblem with overlaping I/O adresses (I'm receiving Input adresses IB 100 to 104 both from I/O links modules and et200s profisafe modules) So my question is - can i assign adresses from IB1000 and more to 4/8F-DI and 4F-DO modules to avoid overlaping or is it reserved for peripherial devices only?

Hello plewandowski, you can assign addresses to your needs. Just avoid overlapping. regards

My last question - is expansion of "Size of process-image input area" in CPU Cycle/Clock Memory needed? I suspect it is but i'd like to be 100% sure about this - doing my first project with ProfiSafe modules
