Anti-Virus Firewall

However, if the firewall is enabled in the system, the terminal bus does not work and cant ping computers. I have to disable the firewall to enable communication between all the systems. I am using a web-navigator as well. So I want firewall to be enabled for security. How do I get the security and also enable communication between servers and clients? Thanks, Sudheendra

jumo Bronze Member Joined: 11/16/2012 Last visit: 8/13/2025 Posts: 228 Rating: (31)	Hi Sudheendra, make sure if your anti-virus software is compatible with your PCS 7 system --> Kompatool Alsotry this: Start the Security Controller tool (Start > All Programms > Siemens Automation > Security Controller). This tool configures the firewall settings (not sure if only for Windows Firewall). If it doesn't work with your firewall you could read out the ports and open them manually in your firewall.
