compatibility error

Thnx That install log file mentioned in an earlier post will be key in figuring it out. Short of that, the shotgun blast approach may help. Here are a few potential targets. 1. Not running using a local admin account. 2. Not running "As administrator" when launching setup. 3. Not having enough memory, or some malware or virus preventing it from running. 4. Not having met the installation requirements in a way that results in a crash. .. probably many more .. But my bet is local admin and right-click run as administrator when launching the setup.exe installation. Please post your results. You may want to run ccleaner to find and potentially fix any registry issues. You were not trying to install onto a network drive right?
