markheuer Posts: 158 Rating: (1)	I've run out of 'M' flags in my code. I see there are 'X' coils available, can they be used as flags? All the manual says about them is "Unused block connectors can be identified with an x."

190B Posts: 2347 Rating: (385)	No, "open terminal" (X-connectors) are no flags, they close off the digital outputs as an output block. If the digital outputs of blocks not completed, the program can not be loaded in the LOGO.

You can attach your code (zipped) to see if we can save some M-bits. Only if you want and are allowed to publish your program. Regards, Marcjan

markheuer Posts: 158 Rating: (1)	Thanks Marcel, If I did need more flags, I would use unused coils...incidentally, I assume the X's can be used for text message boxes? I've not tried, but I always have to use an M as an output for them.
