CPU944 + IP241 problems

JIexa21 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi DB block is not written to the controller. apparently it belongs to the IP241. Without it, the controller is malfunctioning. How to download it? It was necessary to change the data in it, but it is not recorded. Tried to erase - erased, but now will not transfer. In Attachment - screen of error. Attachment BEC08S.jpg (447 Downloads)

Navnag Platinum Expert Joined: 11/21/2007 Last visit: 1/8/2026 Posts: 2327 Rating: (309)	Hello JIexa21 The Msg "Break Received" usually means a communication issue between the PG/PC and PLC. are you able to do other activities with the PLC from this PG/PC ( e.g. Block status , Upload etc ). You should try from a different PG/PC or a different TTY convertor is you are using a PC. BTW Have you tried compressing the CPU Memory ? Hope this helps Cheers Navnag

Online test works with this cable and this cpu without problems - I see all that is needed. Navnag You should try from a different PG / PC or a different TTY convertor is you are using a PC. Navnag Platinum Expert Joined: 11/21/2007 Last visit: 1/8/2026 Posts: 2327 Rating: (309)	Hello I have observed this problem in some installations. it usually caused during uploading / downloading of large blocks. I have observed Many times ( Although I cannot find this reason in the manuals ) , this is caused by electronic interference / circulating currents due to poor earthing. this is usually solved by ensuring the power source( and Earth )PG and the PLC are same and Phase& Neutral are not reversed in any on them. Other things that I can suggest you to try are : a) Switch Off and ON the PLC CPU as well as reboot your PG/PC. b) Uninstall any softwares that you may have installed recently c) Use a different PG / PC ( Especially, if you can get access to a DOS based PG ) Hope this helps Cheers Navnag
