S7-400 H and IM 153-4 PN

NPSK Posts: 70 Rating: (0)	Dear all We know that In S7400H with ET-200M Profibus Configuration the IM 153-2 bundle contains 2 IM 153-2 Module sits in on rack. My doubt is whether if i use CPU 414-5 H with ET-200M IM 153-4. Is it required 2 IM in rack or 1 IM . I am bit confused with PN configuration. In manual it shows only one IM linked with both the H CPU's. If i am right in DP mode H system if one of the IM failes the Other IM will take care . But what will happed in PN mode H system.

If your application requires higher availability then you should go for "DP mode H system" since this will give you 2 IMs per rack. Best regards, H-H
