communication with OP77B

Successfully loaded WinCC flexible with license Inserted Simatic Net for CP5511/5512 into laptop and then MPI cable between simatic net card and 9 pin female connector on OP77B On OP77B, it is in Transfer mode with message "Connecting to Host", In simatic manager, selected CP5511 (active), but inder diagnostic, when we click "Read" only one node is seen active and may be due to that laptop not communicating with OP77B Laptop is not getting connected with OP77B hence unable to take backup of OP77B Kindly advice

Marcjan Diamond Member Joined: 4/22/2010 Last visit: 3/31/2025 Posts: 5697 Rating: (716)	Hello, Open Set PG/PC interface, can be found in the control panel of Windows or in start Simatic, etc. Set interface to CP55xx MPI , baudrate according to transfersettings in the Panel. mjrv Posts: 283 Rating: (0)	Sir V r familiar with S7300 Communication S7300 V5.4 is loaded in laptop, inserted Simatic CP 5512 card in laptop then connected Simatic NET HW adapter for CP5511/CP5512 with card and other end with MPI cable, other end of MPI inserted on Profibus connector on S7300 , under Set PG/PC interface, selected CP5512(MPI), transmission rate 187.5Kbps, Highest station address, under diagnosis, when we click on Test we get Error 0x031b Synchronization error problems with profibus network, tried with 1.5Mbps also, then tried with CP5512 (Profibus) still same error Kindly advice
