Have you created the ODBC DSN "WinCCFlexible" ? Where did you create it exactly? I am asking because you may need to create it in the 32 bit version of the ODBC administration. It is located in %windir%\syswow64 The admin program is called "odbcad32.exe".

Do you get the crash when RUNNING the script or when EDITING the script? If it is when editing the script, it has nothing to do with the DSN. And if so, what specific editing causes the crash (what steps do you do)? Can you edit other scripts that does not crash? Is this the only script that causes a crash?

mirip Posts: 218 Rating: (9)	Another fact: If I wrote a script as soon as I type the phrase "ADODB.Connection" [Set conn = CreateObject ("ADODB.Connection")] or "ADODB.Recordset" [Set rst = CreateObject ("ADODB.Recordset")] winccflex crash !!!

I noticed in the error message in the earlier post that there is an error message about "access not allowed". I found an article about this: http://support2.microsoft.com/kb/842795 Try to make the settings mentioned in the part: Grant permission to create a custom event log
