fanana Posts: 179 Rating: (1)	hallo every body. i am in commissioning phase at a substaion using substaion control system using IEC61850. so my problem is ,i have in my substaion two I/O siprotic 4 large.i couldn't intilaize those devices attached message appeare. as you know this type of siprotic no screen and also no lED ,to identify the problem Attachment inputputputdevice.pdf (384 Downloads)

Mike J Platinum Expert Joined: 10/9/2007 Last visit: 1/15/2026 Posts: 1295 Rating: (116)	Hi Fanana are you talking about 6MD61, the Siprotecs without interface? if yes, be sure the dongle cable is attached to the unit (I think today is just a connector, in the past it was a cable) These units have a CFC but you cannot access it. This CFC is connnected to the pre-configured messages in the Matrix, so you cannot delete or rename these information. You can add new information though. Maybe this is the reason for the message about CFC you are getting. Mike

You are totally right about this cfc .because I found something missing on this signal on goose grouper,I know it is strange but happen,so I had to create again the device and make my seething again .and finally could initialize the device . But after I initialize I try to open digsi file direct connect using my digsi cable from front port ,but unfortunately no connection happen although the dongle connected in the rear side. Note the same cable used during initialize and succeed,but open direct connection no success,the same file I tried to open,I also make update iec then initialize and try to open aging direct connection the same situation.

Mike J Platinum Expert Joined: 10/9/2007 Last visit: 1/15/2026 Posts: 1295 Rating: (116)	create a new digsi project, insert a new device (just open, save and close the device) and initialize the device. is cannot go online? does the device have the same communication card and your configuration has? you know that one can change the cards without changing MLFB. if this doesnt work, contact customercare. i have no other tips

fanana Posts: 179 Rating: (1)	Thanks mike What do you mean by communication card change ,the device accept the initialize so the configuration ok and MLFB of the device ok.or you mean something else. Anyway I will try what you said and I will open a ticket to the customer service.
