Simatic Hardware Catalog Update

Unfortunately all the required module( IM and Y-coupler) is not available in the existing catalogue. Can you help me how to update my hardware catalogue? if I updated my catalogue the existing will not be affected? Updating the catalogue is only done in my EWS and not to be downloaded in the CPU? Need some advise. Regards,

I am try to configure the following module: Y-link 1) 6ES7153-2BA82-0XA0 2) 6ES7195-7HD80-0XA0 3) 6ES7197-1LB00-0XA0 4) 6ES7654-7HY00-0XA0 Unfortunately I cant find the module in hardware catalogue. I also tried upgrading the hardware catalogue using the updatedStep7 HSPs zip but still no success finding above reference. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? Are the reference mentioned above can be use in a fault tolerant redundant system (s400-H)? Kindly advise urgently. Regards,

Michael K Gold Member Joined: 9/3/2008 Last visit: 1/5/2026 Posts: 947 Rating: (164)	Hi, In the hw catalogue under the "PROFIBUS-DP -> DP/PA Link" folder, you should find the "IM 153-2 HF OD" component (6ES7 153-2BA82-0XB0). This is the one you need to drag onto your DP master line. You do not need to find the other MLFB numbers.
