Fail in FB101 with the redudancy system

miguelbustosmolina Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	Good morning, I have a redundancy system with two CPU-315DP and three IM153-2 each one.The redundancy system is working by MPI. The program for the redundancy system is in the OB35, sometimes when the system is change form the PLC_A to the PLC_B,I had one fail in the FB101 Return_val: 16#8010 Ext_info: 16#8090. I try to find more information about this code but I only find this information: W#16#8010 Changeover of DP slaves failed. Cause analysis by means of return value of SFC 58. Return valuestored in EXT_INFO. I don't know what I need to do to try the fix the problem, can I have any tips to try to fix it? Thanks in advance

fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 1/21/2026 Posts: 3054 Rating: (1062)	Hello miguelbustosmolina your best course of action is to follow what the supplied information states, that is: "Cause analysis by means of return value of SFC 58. Return value stored in EXT_INFO" In other words, capture FB101s' "EXT_INFO" value and the use <F1> help on SFC 58 to determine what the error is. Note that SFC 58's error codes are the same as SFC 59's and that is where SFC 58's context sensitive help will take you, so don't get confused by that. I hope this helps
