SM I am1234 LED Status

azad_dsc Posts: 80 Rating: (1)	Hi All, I did make troubleshooting at site to 1200 PLC with SM 1234 module which not planned to go. There are 4 LEDs for AI and all ON(green). The LEDs stay ON even after i took out AI cable from the plug. Only two AI used and configured as 0-10V. terminal 0-, 1-, 2- and 3- are all connected. I read in datasheet/wiring diagram for SM1234, the LEDs are for Input Status. Also mentioned that unused AI should be inserted. I dont have TIA portal to go online and diagnose. My guess now is that the card is kaputt. Do anybody can confirm this by the LEDs status? Thank you.

When you visit, you may want to enable the web server so you can more easily diagnose the troubles without requiring tia portal.
