SICAM PAS AFTER INSTALLATION, CONNECTION TO DATABASE ERROR

BJNA Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello, We are facing a strange issues with one after installing the SICAM PAS V7 As normaly the window of mediasense coming & after choosing the interface card another window coming with title of DBcontrol.exe inside first line is start connection: connection to database error the problem now if I try to open feature enable it's again showing a error message that connection to database faile & not established. any one face this issues before?

alinaji Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I actually found the issue, the issue was with the DBControl. you need to run it again from the directory of SICAM PAS/bin. good luck

CustomerCare from Energy sector (responsible for Sicam and Siprotec) doesn't participate on this forum. The only tip I could give: if you change the computer name after PAS is installed, you have problems with the database. Run Fixhostname.exe to fix this. Mike
