Timer from HMI

adrian_botez Posts: 185 Rating: (9)	Hello. I have an 1214C with an KTP700 Basic PN. How can I write a timer value from this HMI? I know how to do it using scripts, but this HMI does not support it.

Check the figure in the following FAQ link to see how it is possible to convert an INT or DINT from HMI to a TIME variable as input of timers in S7-1200.Also check the samples provided: How do you convert data types in the TIA Portal for the S7-1200/1500?

It is much easier DINT from HMI-->multiply it by 1000-->multiply it by 60-->T_convert from DINT to TIME-->DONE
