Dear Sir,

I am using PLC system on dredging system on ship. Details of the system is :

Master module

PLC - S307

CPU - 315-2DP ( 315-2AG10-0AB0)

Communication module - CP343-1 (343-1-1EX21-0XE0)

Slave station

SIMATIC - ET-200M (IM153-1)

The system was working absolutely fine for the last 3 years and suddenly it has developed a fault.

The LED indications on CPU module (master) are :

SF-Red(static)

BF-Red(Blinking)

DC5V- Green

FRCE- No indication

Run- Green

Slave Led indication on Communication Module (ET-200M (IM153-1))are :

SF - Red ( blinking)

BF - Red ( blinking)

ON- Green

We have done following steps:

1. Switch off the system and Remove the memory card and reset the system number of times but the problem remains the same.

2. Inter-connectors between different modules ( CPU-CP, I/O cards of master and slave) removed and inserted again and checked their hardware and apparently no fault exists in those connectors

3. We have spare module of both master (S7300 SIMATIC CPU315-2P) and slave. We have changed the master CPU315-2P and replaced with new one but still it did not work.

4. We also have spare module of ET-200M (slave) and we replaced it with new one but still it is not working.

We are still getting the same indications on LEDs as indicated above. Can you please guide me as to what can be fault and what steps further we shall go to check/diagnose and solve the problem
