S7 - 1200 Connection Problems

Neil Lucas Posts: 34 Rating: (1)	I wonder if anyone can shed some light please. Laptop is HP Probook 6560B running Win 7 Pro - 64 bit TIA Portal V13 update 6. CPU is 1215dc/dc/dc (215-1AG31-0XB0) This is a CPU with an existing program in that I have been tweaking with over a number of weeks. I haven't touched it for around a week. In the interim, I updated my Microwin to SP9 and downloaded to an older 200 cpu (not that is should make any difference) Now today I cant access my original 1215 CPU. The strange thing is, I can ping it and I get a response but it wont show up in the accessible nodes options. I can access the CPU via my older laptop, so I know it functions but cannot access any CPU (tried with 2 other CPUs) with my current laptop. Has updating my old microwin affected any setting? I have checked the obvious and nothing is amiss, the laptop os on the same subnet as the cpu but it just wont detect. Any ideas please?

My understanding is that some versions of portal do not peacefully coexist with MicroWIN. Check the compatibility guides related to what Siemens software can be installed at the same time. I had to install MicroWIN in a Virtual Machine to get portal working smoothly.

Hi, Finally,Try this 1.Format the CPU and Memory Card 2.Make sure you're having same IP range in PLC and PG 3.Disable your firewall and antivirus May be you can succeed.
