What I need to simulate with WinCC Flex 2008 SP3?

gdglisch82 Posts: 56 Rating: (1)	Hi, I just want to simulate and it is not clear to me what I need. I am using WinCC Flex 2008 SP3. I a not connected to any PLC. Can I just :simulate to see how my project functions? I have no runtime software. Everything is greyed out. Please see screen shot. Attachment D:\Temp\WinCC Simulate.jpg (311 Downloads)

gdglisch82 Posts: 56 Rating: (1)	The issue was that that particular modelHMI didn't seem to support simulation. I do not remember which HMI it was though.

Ste39 Posts: 4620 Rating: (710)	Hello gdglisch82, Are you sure you have WinCC Flexible 2008? Strange, I have one PC with WinCC Flexible 2008 without SP and I simulate the OP77B Why can't you simulate the Runtime for an OP73/OP73micro/TP177A/ TP177micro or OP77A in WinCC flexible on a PC?
